Gynecological Services

At Whole Woman’s Health of Austin we encourage patients to take an active role in their healthcare; in return, we promise to educate patients about their bodies, explain medical procedures, and place great importance on how our patients feel. We understand the fear and anxiety that patients often experience in medical settings and we do our best to provide a warm and comfortable medical practice.

We are contracted with most major insurance carriers, including United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Humana. We are also proud to offer extremely affordable prices for uninsured patients. Click here for fees.

Like most women’s healthcare providers, we recommend having annual exam and pap smear every year. We include a free Thin Prep pap smear in the price of every annual exam, because it is the best way for detecting cervical cell changes or abnormalities. Your annual exam is also a great time to consult with the practitioner about health questions, problems, or changes in the last year. Our gentle female practitioners will make sure you understand and are involved in your healthcare.

***We now offer Gardasil, the HPV vaccine****

We also offer:

  • STI testing and treatment
  • Birth control counseling
  • Breast exams
  • Yeast infection and UTI treatment
  • Pregnancy tests
  • Depo injections
  • IUD consultation and insertion
  • Abnormal pap smear treatment
  • Teen and GLBT-friendly healthcare

We sell Plan B, also called the “morning after pill,” over the counter in our office. You do not need an appointment to receive the morning after pill. The morning after pill is a medication that you can use up to five days from unprotected sex, to prevent yourself from getting pregnant. It is not an abortion, but prevents conception from happening. Click here for more information on the morning after pill.

If you’d like, you may download information or forms for your visit by clicking here.

If you are seeking abortion services, you will need the Texas Department of Health Disclosure at least 24 hours before your abortion
